Quality Care
Our Quality Commitment:
At Bell Hospital we are committed to providing superior quality, personal care.
As a patient we want you to be safe, well informed, participate in your treatment choices and engage in open communication about your care.
We are committed to reaching our goal by exceeding your expectations during your stay. Bell’s Performance Improvement Program identifies and measures desired outcomes to ensure we provide the best possible services for you and your family.
Bell Hospital is in compliance with Federal requirements set forth in the Medicare Conditions of Participation. Our quality is measured by Regulatory agencies such as the Michigan Department of Community Health and Michigan Peer Review Organization. We are a member of the Michigan Critical Access Hospital Quality Network which monitors our patient care and compares us to Michigan Critical Access Hospitals, and all hospitals nation wide. We monitor patient satisfaction through a nationally recognized company called Press Ganey which provides patient surveys and monitors the results. These results are then compared to 1700 other hospitals in the United States. Our goal is to rise to the top of those hospitals for patient satisfaction and we are well on our way. Our Board, Medical Staff and Administration lead the way in our Quality Program by their support and involvement.
Our goal is to provide prompt solutions and address any unmet needs or expectations during your stay. We invite you to share your opinions or concerns immediately with the staff caring for you and/or with the manager of the department/unit. Our Quality Director is also available to talk with you, either during or after your stay. You can call our Quality Director by dialing extension 2640. You can call from home by dialing 906-485-2640 or toll free at (800) 258-8594, ask for extension 2640.
